"Heading up the hill from Santa Cruz Boothroyd spotted this waystatiom for a beer break. A TARDIS bar with a penchant for card and board games. Including Spanish Trivial Pursuit. Lots of groups drinking, eating and playimg. My Spanish Triv is worse than my ....! Having a great time away from the Sat night crowds. Had a hoot of a time."

"We love this place! The decorations are amazing and a lot of fun. We have celebrated birthdays here and fun evenings with friends. They have one of our favorite games, "Mal Trago," which has helped us learn Spanish. And when they say something is picante , they mean it! Muchas gracias y nos vemos pronto!"

"I am so in love with this place, where to even begin?? 1) The atmosphere is 10 out of 10. It feels like you're in a medieval tavern mixed with collectibles from classic nerd movies + games. Very retro, nerdy, nostalgic vibes. I always see something new every time. 2) The food is great. As a gluten free vegan, I am so happy with the options on the menu. 3) They have a great happy hour - need I say more?? 4) and the best part - the games! This place is heaven for anyone who wants to play tabletop board games. They have a "menu" of games to choose from. Or you can bring your own. And I often see people playing D&D at the dragon. Thank you to El Dragón - we love you!"

"What can I say? There are tasty veggie options and beer. Good music. And the decor is all action figures etc. which makes it loveably different from the other standard burger joints. Comfortable to hang out, with board games to play, and great for the geeks out there!"
